Director
Emma Starks
Emma Starks is the Director of Project One Love and a dedicated childcare professional with more than 15 years of experience serving children and families. With a strong foundation in the health field, Emma holds an Associate of Science degree and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential specializing in preschool education.
For over a decade, she has led childcare programs as a Director, combining her expertise with her passion for creating safe, structured, and nurturing environments for young learners. As an entrepreneur of more than 15 years, Emma has built programs that support students from Pre‑K through 12th grade through mentoring, tutoring, and social‑emotional development.
Her mission is to empower youth with the tools, confidence, and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally — both inside and outside the classroom.

Yvonne Starks
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Yvonne Starks has been a dedicated part of Project One Love Inc. since 2017, overseeing and managing the daily administrative operations with excellence and care. With a strong eye for detail and a natural talent for organization, Yvonne consistently looks for creative ways to streamline processes, improve communication, and strengthen the overall efficiency of the program.
Her positive attitude and encouraging spirit help create a welcoming environment for families, staff, and students. Yvonne believes in supporting others to reach their full potential and brings that same energy into every interaction.
Outside of work, Yvonne enjoys reading, writing, and spending quality time with her grandson—her favorite source of joy and inspiration.
Brian L. Sargent
FACILITY MANAGER
Brian L. Sargent Sr. is an Indiana native with more than 25 years of leadership experience in management and process development. With a professional background in the healthcare field, Brian has spent his career helping organizations streamline operations, strengthen efficiencies, and build systems that support long‑term success.
He joined Project One Love to bring his expertise to an organization deeply committed to serving families and adding value to the community. Brian is passionate about supporting the mission of building families first and ensuring that the environment, facilities, and daily operations reflect the care and structure our students deserve.
With a BS, MBA, and QMHP credential, Brian combines education, experience, and a heart to help Project One Love continue growing as a reliable resource for children and families.
